What data are processed?

If we process data based on legitimate interests, you as the data subject have the right to object to your personal data being processed as defined by the stipulations of Article 21 GDPR.

Access data

When you visit our website, personal data is processed so that you can view the contents of the website on your terminal.

In order to be able to display the pages in your browser, the IP address of the terminal that you are using must be processed. Additional information about the browser on your terminal is also processed.

We are obliged by data protection law to guarantee the confidentiality and integrity of the personal data processed with our IT systems.

For this purpose and with this interest in mind, the following data is recorded based on legitimate interests:

  • IP address of your PC (for maximum 7 days)
  • Operating system of your PC
  • Browser version of your PC
  • Name of the retrieved file
  • Date and time of the retrieval
  • Transferred data volume
  • Referring URL

The IP address will be deleted after no later than 7 days from all systems that are used in connection with the operation of this website. We are then no longer able to link the remaining data to a specific person.

The data are also used to identify and eliminate errors on the website.

Contact form

On our website, we provide a contact form with which you can request information about our products or services or generally make contact with us. Any data that we definitely need to be able to reply to your inquiry are marked as mandatory fields by us. Data entry in any other fields is voluntary.

We need this information in order to be able to process your inquiry, to address you correctly and ensure that our reply reaches you. Data is processed in response to specific inquiries to fulfil or bring about a contract. In the case of general inquiries, processing is performed based on legitimate interests.

Inquiries that we receive via the contact form on our website are processed electronically by us in order to reply to your inquiry. As part of that process, further persons or departments and possibly third parties may receive information about the content that you sent in the contact form.

Data provided in the contact form is transmitted via the Internet in encrypted form.

Purposes of the processing of personal data

We process personal data in order to operate our website and to fulfil our contractual obligations with respect to our customers and to uphold our legitimate interests.

If you make inquiries outside an active customer relationship, we process that data for sales and advertising purposes. You can object to your personal data being used for advertising purposes at any time.

Voluntary information

Any data that you provide to us voluntarily, e.g. in forms, and which is not required to fulfil our contractual obligations, we process on the justified assumption that the processing and use of that data is in your interests.

Recipient / Transfer of data

If you request access to data in a non-written form, please understand that we may request proof of identify that you are the person who you claim to be.

Furthermore, you have the right to rectification or erasure or restriction of processing of data if you have a legal right to do so.

Erasure of data

We always erase personal data when no grounds for their continued storage are exist. One ground for keeping data stored may be when data are still required to meet contractual commitments, in order to be able to assess, grant, and deny guarantee and possibly warranty claims. In the case of a statutory retention obligation, erasure can only be performed after the relevant retention period has expired.

The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint about the processing of personal data by us with a supervisory authority for data protection.
